A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF PREVIOUS
SHOWS & PERFORMANCES
'Through The Ages' - Saturday 12th June 2010
I think I must have forgotten how much hard work a full school show was!! After an 18th month wait for the next show 'Through The Ages' was performed! Yes there were mistakes, yes there were lighting and sound issues at times and yes there were plenty of tears however it was a great success with so many lovely comments and feedback! We took the audience from the Big Bang, through prehistoric times, and all eras up to the future! With a selection of dance and vocal styles we wowed the audience and had an amazing time! Thank You Everyone who was involved!
'Don't Stop Believing' - Sunday 30th May 2010
9 Stage Plus Students and Teachers sang and danced our way down to the last few groups of 'Don't Stop Believing' for Channel 5. Shine TV took 30 groups for the live TV Series that started on Sunday 19th July.
We got through the video round from 3000 to 300 and were told that we were right down to the last few before the selection of the final 30. We received some great comments however unfortunately didn't make it thought to the last section.
I would like to say a huge Well Done and Thank You to our team consisted of Alfie Smith, Andrea Campusano, Andrew Smith, Elena Buxton, Emily Nix, Gemma Hobbs, Lucy Webster, Sam Hopkins, Suzie Aries. Also Thank You to Sam Nix and Sara Tingle for coming along for moral support.
'Cirque De Musique - Sunday 2nd May 2010

Christmas Concert - 2009

Showbiz '09 - Saturday 29th August 2009
Once Again! Fantastic! With numbers from Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, The Wedding Singer, The Little Mermaid and lots more, 25 students under the age of 18 wowed two audiences at the Elgiva Theatre Chesham. With 10 days of rehearsals, emotions were high and there was a lot of shouting and screaming whether from excitement or frustration! We weren't sure we were going to make it (still setting numbers the day before) but we all pulled together as a team and every minute was worth it! Thank You Students and Teachers for all your hard work and dedication!
As many have said the best Showbiz yet! But can we top it next year??
Christmas Concert - Saturday 6th December 2008
Stage Plus and Risborough Youth Theatre got together to put on two great Performances at St Marys Church. With a cast of under 30 students of all ages we filled the church with Christmas songs and our very own short panto! With only a few rehearsals the performers pulled out a fantastic show! Well Done to those involved and Thank You to everyone who came and supported us as we raised funds for Stage Plus, RYT and The Church!
'Around The World' - Sunday 2nd November 2008
This was my first full School show as Principal and although a lot of hard work it all paid off on the day! With two Performances at 3pm and 7pm at the Elgiva Theatre, Chesham 150 students from 2yrs to Adult put on a fantastic performance of Dance, Singing and Drama for a nearly 500 strong audience! We took the audience 'Around the World' to Spain, Finland, America, Thailand and many more places with all the different routines! I was so proud to be a part of this amazing production-everyone worked so hard including teachers, students and parents. Thank You so Much and well Done!!!
Showbiz '08 - Sunday 31st August 2008
Wow! Another great Showbiz! With only 10 days to put on the show the students (and teachers) worked so hard to make it that little bit better than last year and from the feedback we received i think we succeeded. With numbers form Legally Blonde, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Cabaret and Beauty and the Beast the cast put on a fabulous performance and loved every minute! I would like to Thank all the teachers that worked alongside me and all the cast for being so enthusiastic.

Showbiz '07 - Saturday 1st September 2007
A spectacular show put on by the enthusiastic and very talented youth of Bucks. For 2 weeks these 7-16 year olds worked so hard to put together an amazing combination of West End and Broadway numbers. The enthusiasm and dedication amazed me and it was such a pleasure to work with them all. The show was fantastic and the feedback I have had has been unbelievable. Thank You and Well Done to everyone involved. I hope to see you all next year!
'Kaleidoscope' - Sunday 10th June 2007
As Miss Jan's last show before I took over, this was a very emotional evening. It was an extravaganza of dance, song and drama to show friends and families the standard the school was working at and to say a last Goodbye. It was a fantastic evening and the student's definately did Miss Jan proud and made me even more excited about my new role as Principal.
