We offer this experience to all ages but they are not compulsory. Participating in exams ensures the student is progressing through grades to the highest possible standard that is based nationally not just within our school.
We aim to have exams every year to 18 months as the students spend part of the year studying syllabi and part rehearsing for shows.
To submit students into an exam we need to have enough for a full day in order for an examiner to come to us. We also have to take our ballet and tap/modern/disco exams seperately due to them being with a different exam board.
Saturday 19th July 2008- BTDA Speech and Drama and Lyrical 3
Well Done to all Speech and Drama Students who took an exam on this day. We had some amazing results! Every student reached over 80% achieving a Distinction, with 4 students receiving Platinum for a mark of over 90%
We are still awaiting the Lyrical results.
Sunday 13th July 2008- ISTD Modern 3
Two Grade 3 Modern Students took their exam over in Maidenhead with another school and received some great marks. Well Done!!!
Friday 30th May 2008- BTDA Modern and Ballet
Well Done to our 3 Senior's who travelled up to Leicester to take their Major Exams. An 100 % pass rate with the school reaching a level of 93%
Friday 25th April and Saturday 3rd May 2008 - ISTD Modern and Tap
Well Done to all those student who took an exam-we had an 100% pass rate with many reaching an 'A' grade.
