What Stage Plus Means To Me #Hayley
Hayley Turner is mum to Iris, Indigo and another budding dancer, 6 month old Jet,who will hopefully be joining us when she’s big enough.
”I am a parent of two students, age 9 and 7, who started as toddlers in boogie babies and then moved on to graded Modern classes.
They both completely love dancing with Stage Plus, and have been part of shows, summer schools, and special classes, and will continue to dance with the school for many years to come.
They have become part of a very special Stage Plus family, and have made lifelong friendships, as have I as a parent.
My daughters gain so much from dancing with the school, Iris has cerebral palsy and without dance she would not be where she is now physically, and I think mentally, as it has given her a great range of movement and the confidence to do anything she wants. Indigo has gained so much confidence through dancing, and when I see her performing it is like she lets go of any insecurities and gives it her all.”
As 11th June 2017 marks the 10th Anniversary of myself as Owner and Principal of Stage Plus, I wanted to publish a blog post per week talking about what Stage Plus means to people, written by a variety of people including faculty, parents and students, past and present!
If you would like to write a little bit about your time at Stage Plus please email it to me with a photo.
