Gemma has a real passion for teaching dance, to make everyone feel a part of something special, to be inclusive and believe in all of her students and help them believe in themselves. She loves when past students return to pass down their knowledge and enthusiasm proving that you never really leave the Stage Plus Family.
Gemma started dancing from a very young age and spent the majority of her childhood with The Sabatini Dancers fundraising for charities and performing anywhere and everywhere. She trained from 18 at The North London Dance Studio where she recieved a Diploma in Performing Arts and her ISTD teaching qualifications.
After College Gemma performed around the country and travelled abroad performing, managing and choreographing. On a break from this she covered maternity at Stage Plus and fell in love with teaching and when offered to become Principal in 2016 she jumped at the chance!
Gemma has continued over the years to advance and add to her qualifications with Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training, RAD, ID Dance, Zumba, Rosina Andrew’s Method and more.
She is a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, is First Aid trained, DBS checked and has her First Aid Certificate.
